Custom Pets

1. Please submit a request using the form below. Provide some special details to help with the design process. You can also upload a quality photo to help me see their features.

2. Once I receive your request, I'll review the information and contact you to confirm the details. We will discuss any specific ideas you have to ensure I have aligned to your vision. I will provide you with a timeline estimate and price at this stage. I will require a 20% deposit to secure your order.

3. After confirmation and deposit, the magic begins! I will handcraft your custom piece with meticulous care.

4. Before the final touches are added, you'll receive a preview of your custom piece. This is your chance to request any small adjustments to ensure it is perfect.

5. Once you are happy with the design, your piece will be carefully finished and packaged with love to be shipped to you. We take pride in making sure each piece is not only made to your vision but also arrives safely and ready for display.

I aim to begin work on your piece within 2 business days of receiving your deposit. Typically, 3D pieces (figurines and keyrings) are completed within 1–2 weeks from this start date, though this timeline may extend slightly during peak periods. If, for any reason, the timeline extends beyond this, I will inform you promptly.

I will begin work on Pet Portraits within the same time frame upon receiving your deposit. Typically, completion takes approximately 2-4 weeks. A single pet requires less time to complete, while 2 and more pets, may extend the production timeline.

If you need your piece sooner, please let me know during the confirmation stage, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your request. Please note that rush orders will incur an additional fee.

At Luna and Lamb Studios, we hand-make every custom piece to reflect the unique essence of your pet. Therefore, whilst I strive for lifelike details, each creation serves as an artistic representation of your pet, rather than a perfect replica.

I finish my 3D pieces using a coating of glossy UV resin for durability and a beautiful finish. During confirmation, I will discuss with you whether you would prefer the gloss to coat the whole piece or be used as an accent to details such as the eyes, nose, or collar.

All Pet Portraits are varnished upon finish to ensure a long lifespan and so materials do not smudge. I do not frame any pieces due to differences in framing preferences.

Our creations make thoughtful gifts and will arrive beautifully packaged. You will have an option to include a card or personal note for an extra special touch.

How do I place a custom order?
To place an order, simply fill out the request form below. Once I receive your submission, I will be in touch within 2 business days to confirm the details and discuss your specific vision.

Will my piece look exactly like the photos of my pet?
Each piece is an artistic representation of your pet, not an exact replica. While I focus on capturing a lifelike finish, the size and handmade nature of the pieces means there will be some variations in the final result.

Do you only do dog pieces?
Definitely not! I am able to create all forms of furry and scaly friends in the form of a figurine or pet portrait.

Can I request changes to my design after placing my order?
Once your order is confirmed and deposit has been made, I will start creating your piece. Before baking or varnishing the final piece, you will receive a preview of the design. This is your chance to suggest any adjustments. We want you to love your piece, so I will make revisions to make sure it meets your expectations.

I want something other than the options you offer. Is this possible?
Absolutely! Whilst I offer the options of figurines, keyrings and pet portraits, I also have the ability to create exactly what you are after. Please detail what you would love to create in the request form and I will see what I can do.

What materials do you use for custom pieces?
All custom pieces are handmade using high-quality materials. For figurines and keyrings, I use polymer clay and acrylic paint to refine every detail. These pieces are finished using UV resin. Pet portraits are created using either oil paints or pencil and on a canvas, canvas board or high quality paper. All options for Pet portraits have different costs and finishing times.

What if I'm not happy with my custom piece?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your creation. If there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 24 hours of receiving your piece and I will work with you to find a solution.
